We are pleased to welcome John Na’em Snobar as our guest preacher at our 7:30am and 9:30am services at Holy Spirit this Sunday. As a lawyer, former Australian diplomat, Director of Advocacy for Palestinian Christians in Australia, and as someone whose family story is deeply connected to the land where our faith was born—John brings a perspective shaped by lived experience, history, and faith. In a time when conversations about the Middle East can feel complex, sensitive, and at times overwhelming, John’s visit offers us a chance to hear from the often unheard voices of Christian communities in the region, and reflecting on how our faith calls us to hold complexity with humility, compassion, and care for all people.
