A Beautiful Lent (Lent study)

The liturgical year is not simply a cycle to observe or a set of traditions to maintain. It is a way of being formed—slowly, patiently, and ever more deeply—by the story of God’s love in the world.

Drawing on “A Beautiful Year” by Diana Butler Bass, this Lent Study helps us encounter the church year as a living rhythm that shapes perception, expands our faith, and widens our capacity for mercy and justice.

Through scripture, memory, and attentiveness to contemporary life, these reflections remind us that Lent becomes not a detour from ordinary life, but a way of inhabiting it more truthfully.

Tuesdays 10:30-11:30am with Rev’d Deb in the courtyard at Holy Spirit, Kenmore. Sign up at the back of the church or email rector@kenbrookang.org.au
