Lent Unfiltered: A Visual Journey

Take up photography (or drawing, or another visual artform) for lent!

Take a photo (or draw a picture if you prefer) every week as you think about the theme of each week in lent. (Download themes.)

You don’t have to take a photo every day. You don’t have to meet any artistic standard. This is about practising attention, not perfection.

Some guidelines: Don’t stress! Keep it simple! No faces without permission. You’re allowed to miss days.

At the end of each week ask: What did I notice that I usually miss? What surprised me? What was hard to photograph?

Optional: Share the journey! Send your photos/drawing to Rev Deb 0457 519 899 or rector@kenbrookang.org.au by Thursday morning each week to be displayed in the parish and on parish social media. (Published images remain anonymous unless you ask me to include your name.)
