Prayers for Second Sunday after Pentecost
Loving Father, hear our prayers for all peoples. We pray for leaders of nations, that they may govern for peace and the welfare of their people; for all suffering from war especially those in Ukraine and the Middle East and for those who have lost families and homes. We pray for all those threatened by the Ebola outbreak. Bring new life to all who live in soul-destroying circumstances.
Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Loving Father, we pray for your church worldwide. The Scottish Episcopal Church, the Diocese of Brisbane: Archbishop Jeremy Greaves; Assistant Bishops, Clergy and People; The Parish of Kenmore-Brookfield:
St Francis College; Hillbrook Anglican School, Enoggera: Principal, Chaplain, School Council, staff & students. We pray for our Parish, Parish Priest, assistant priests, and our student. We pray for our wardens and Parish Council and for LA’s and servers and all parishioners and their families near and far. Open our ears to hear your voice and let us follow where you lead.

Loving Father, we pray for our community. We pray for all whom we love and those with whom we share our daily lives; for the homeless, the hungry and the unwanted. May our lives be a witness to your gospel.

Loving Father you are always with us in our darkest hours. We pray for all those who are feeling grief, despair or loneliness; for those who are sick, the elderly and the infirm. We pray especially for all who have asked for our… and those we now name aloud or silently. Help all who care for them to know your love and comfort.

Loving Father, we pray for those who have found their rest with you. We remember those of this parish and all our loved ones who have gone before us. May we so follow you in life that in death we may come with all your saints to the place of everlasting joy you prepare for us.
